Just wanted to give a quick update about some tasty new beers at Barley's in Shawnee. Now on tap:
- Deschutes Jubelale: this dark, malty winter warmer with layered flavors and beautifully balanced hopping pours deep garnet in color, medium body, with notes of chicory, earth, spice and fruit. Rated 96/100; 6.7% ABV
- Odell Red Ale: Odell took the American-style red ale to a whole new level by adding a variety of aggressive American hops, giving this ale a distinctive fresh hop aroma and flavor. Rated 96/100; 6.5% ABV
We also just got some cans of Sante Fe Brewing Company's Imperial Java Stout - a complex array of bitter notes comes from potent American hops, earthy British hops, black roasted malts and, of course, coffee. Rated 98/100; 8% ABV. Come in try some delicious new brews - cheers!
